Profile

Full-stack developer with almost seven years of professional experience in PHP and React (Symfony since 2020, Laravel since 2025), building web and mobile products for the travel industry. At schauinsland-reisen I deliver whole projects largely on my own, from data model to production: three live customer-facing travel websites on Laravel and Filament, connected to Traveltainment/Amadeus, and the company's React Native customer app, including its CI/CD. I write automated tests, maintain CI pipelines and use AI-assisted development (Claude Code).

Moved from the Varna subsidiary to group headquarters. Core team of 3–4 in a 15-person development department.

  • Rebuilt three live customer-facing travel websites as lead and largely sole developer, from data model to production: fruehbucher.de, explorer-reisebuero.de and schauinsland-reisebuero.de.
  • Integrated the Traveltainment / Amadeus booking and reservation APIs.
  • Built Filament admin panels so business teams manage offers, promotions, landing pages and content without developer involvement.
  • Develop the company's customer app (React Native/Expo, pre-release) for viewing and managing bookings; sole owner of its architecture and its CI/CD build and release pipeline (EAS).
  • Write automated tests (Pest, PHPUnit) and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for my projects.
  • Designed the database schema (implemented by a colleague), work with a UI developer, and take part in Docker-based production deployments with the DevOps team.

Incoming agency of schauinsland-reisen; one of 3–4 developers in the in-house IT team.

  • Co-developed the company's central operations platform: guest arrivals and departures, airport transfers and bus planning, reps and excursions, hotels, invoicing and reporting.
  • Replaced Excel sheets, a legacy Access desktop system and email-and-phone coordination with one application, cutting planning time, reducing transfer errors and speeding up reporting to headquarters.
  • Built file-based import tools for booking data from the parent company, plus report generators and data conversion utilities.
